I visted the beaches of France today. It reminded me an awful lot about home, the smell, the wind, the sand. It was, however, so bizarre not being able to see the faint outline of Rottnest (a small island of the coast of Perth, my home town) when looking out of the sea, scared me a little actually, that i'm so far from home.
